So I went to the post office today to pick up my keys for a new post office box after applying online and found that the box was in just about the worst location possible, right next to the apc. There's always someone standing there meaning, there will always be someone standing in my way......Ok, so I ask the clerk if I can get a different box, after checking with his superior he says, we will have to cancel the current box and that I will have to buy a new one.
In short, he couldn't provide a refund because their computer system chose the spot, and if I get a new box, I am up in a lottery, I could get a box right next to the one I didn't like. Augh, corporate america can sometimes be so frustrating. All of the rules and regulations and "we can't" attitudes. It just get's to me sometimes.
I think I will be going back to the post office later today to get a new box, even if it means whatever money I have paid for the bad-box, will be thrown out. Maybe with any luck it will somehow find it's way through the system to help pay off our national debt.
